Many of the buildings in downtown Okanogan, Washington have blow-ups of old photos on their outside walls. Most of these are by Frank S. Matsura, a professional photographer who came to the United States from Japan either in 1902 or 1905. He settled in Okanogan in 1907 and died of tuberculosis in 1913. This particular image is of Matsura's own studio. |
