Description
English: Post card showing the Oka bridge South of Serpukhov. This was a double-deck bridge built 1867 for the Moscow–Kursk-Railway and the road Moscow–Kharkov. It was in use till 1928 as a railway bridge, then still used as a foot bridge before it was torn down in 1988. Components were manufactured at Kolomna and transported by boat on the stream to the location of the bridge.
