Description
English: Old post card showing the Oka bridge South of Serpukhov. This was a double-deck bridge built 1867 for the Moscow–Kursk-Railway and the road Moscow–Kharkov. It was in use till 1928 as a railway bridge, then still used as a foot bridge before it was torn down in 1988. Components were manufactured at Kolomna and transported by boat on the stream to the location of the bridge.
Русский: Мост через Оку к югу от Серпухова на старинной открытке. Двухъярусный мост построен в 1867 году для Московско-Курской железной дороги и дороги Москва — Харьков. Компоненты производились в Коломне и доставлялись к месту строительства вплавь. До 1928 года он использовался как железнодорожный мост, затем все ещё использовался как пешеходный, пока не был разобран в 1988 году.
