Description
English: This image represents Kola nut, which is one of the very many customs that unites the Igbos'. It is a valuable fruit of great importance in the Igbo community as it is used to pray and also used to open an event or ceremony. In Igbo land, kola nut is customarily presented to visitors as a token of welcome, hospitality and acceptance.
Igbo: Oji bụ otu n'ime ọtụtụ omenala na-ejikọ ndị Igbo ọnụ. Ọ bụ mkpụrụ bara uru dị oke mkpa n'obodo Igbo dịka a na-eji ya ekpe ekpere. N'ala Igbo, a na-enye ndị ọbịa oji ka ọ bụrụ akara nnabata.
