Italiano: l'offset di una conica Δ, e di conseguenza il suo inviluppo, e', in tutti i casi, un prodotto di due involuzioni omotetiche.

Questa informazione e' molto utile quando il centro di tale corrispondenza e' punto decentrato rispetto al centro di Δ. pero si tiene presente che l'offset di una conica non e' una conica. per esempio la parallela ad un ellisse si chiama Toroide. ne consegue che la parallela ad una quadrica non e' una quadrica.
