Description
English: Chief's badge probably worn by James E. Sullivan during the Official Olympics events on September 1, 1904. Sullivan was chief ot the Department of Physical Culture of the Louisiana Purchase Exposition, director of the 1904 Olympic Games and Secretary-Treasurer of the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU).
