Description

U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Air and Marine DHC-8 aircraft patrols the United States Gulf Coast region. The Bombardier DHC-8 is one of the most fuel efficient aircraft in CBP’s operation and has the lowest per hour cost of any maritime patrol aircraft in our inventory. The DHC-8 can also be converted from a cargo configuration to a passenger aircraft, making it an ideal aircraft to respond to natural disasters and emergencies. CBP is protecting our Nation’s borders.
