Summary

[edit]
Description

English: „Große Lauter“ (tributary of the Upper Danube) at „Offenhausen“ (location of a former nunnery, now one of three Marbach studs), Swabian Alb. The karstwater of the beautiful, large karst spring within the walled premises drops down behind the wall right into a small powerhouse, a heritage site, on the photo seen through conifers. The stream’s crystal clear water is covered by large beds of swimming aquatic plants, which are flourishing right now.
