Português: Mapa de demarcação fronteiriça de Oecusse, datado de 16 de Fevereiro de 1899 à escala 1:100.000. Este mapa serviu de base para os acordos celebrados entre a Holanda e Portugal que definitivamente fixaram as suas fronteiras em Timor. Nakuta e Fatu Sinai (Islet Batek) surgem claramente referenciados. A linha de fronteira cruzaria o ilhéu pelo seu meio. Sem fundamento a indonésia depois da declaração de independência de Timor-Leste tomou Pulau Sinai construindo nele um aquartelamento militar e por indefinições ou dúvidas sem sentido se mantêm negociações intermináveis sobre o que estaria desde há muito reconhecido.
