| Description |
English: Odd One Out Sited between the large semi-detached houses on Long Lane is this unique house. A number of local myths surround its design. Was it built as a station masters house for a station half way between East Finchley and Finchley Central? - unlikely, it uses the wrong type of brick for a Great Northern Railway building. Or was it built as a vicarage - if so, for which church? Perhaps it was a lodge for the manor - located on East End Road at the junction with Manor View. Nobody seems to know for certain. |
