Description

Ball-and-stick model of the octaborate(8) anion, [B8H8]2− (also called closo-octaborate), as found in the crystal structure of tetraamminezinc closo-octaborate(8), [Zn(NH3)4][B8H8], reported in Inorg. Chem. (1969) 8, 2771-2774 and CSD entry FUZCUY.
