New paint and new home port. Ocean Ness is a Multi Role Offshore Support Vessel (Field standby/ Rescue/ Tug/ Supply). Owner(s): Atlantic Offshore Scotland Ltd Those among you who know my photographs and the harbour will have noticed orange buoys appearing from time to time. Up until last week I thought that someone had got permission from the harbour authorities to place lobster creels. Not so, I was told by a water bailiff that they are markers for underwater electronic devices that record smolts (young salmon) as they leave the River Dee. Micro chipped salmon? |
