Description
Polski: Barokowy obraz z XVIII w. przedstawiający św. Wojciecha. Za św. Wojciechem stoi dwóch duchownych w strojach charakterystycznych dla Zgromadzenia Księży Misjonarzy. Dalej w tle rzeka i miasto. Obraz pierwotnie umieszczony był w jednym z ołtarzy. Obecnie wisi na ścianie szczytowej po lewej stronie ołtarza. Obraz umieszczony został w kościele św. Wawrzyńca w okresie gdy misjonarze zarządzali tym kościołem a pierwsza o nim wzmianka w źródłach pochodzi z 1736 roku. Prawdopodobnie mógł go namalować jeden z mławskich misjonarzy, dlatego na obrazie uwiecznieni są dwaj misjonarze a miasto w tle za krętą rzeką jest utożsamiane z Mławą i jej widokiem ze wzgórza na którym znajduje się kościół i jest oddzielone od miasta rzeczką Seracz. Obraz namalowany na płótnie. Autor nieznany. Na postawie artykułu Anny Kołodziejskiej 'Kościół św. Wawrzyńca i wzgórze cmentarne w Mławie Historia i dzień dzisiejszy', książek Leszka Zygnera 'Historia parafii mławskie' i 'Mława miasto pogranicza'
