Português: NBR NOTÍCIAS - 21.03.14: Nesta quinta-feira (21) em Marabá, no Pará, a presidenta Dilma Rousseff participou do lançamento do edital de licitação para o derrocamento dos 43 quilômetros do Pedral do Lourenço. É uma obra de desgastes das pedras que ficam no fundo do rio Tocantins e que impedem a navegação em períodos de estiagem. Após o processo de remoção ou destruição das pedras, a operacionalização da hidrovia poderá ser feita durante o ano todo. Para 2025, a capacidade de transportes é calculada em até 20 milhões de toneladas por ano, em grãos, minérios e carga geral. A conclusão da obra está prevista para 2018. Ainda na cerimônia, a presidenta Dilma Rousseff entregou as chaves 30 retroescavadeiras e 80 caminhões-caçamba a prefeitos de 89 municípios do Pará. As máquinas foram doadas pelo PAC 2 Equipamentos. O Ministério do Desenvolvimento Agrário (MDA) investiu mais de R$ 32 milhões na entrega desta quinta. O total investido na compra e doação de máquinas no Pará, até o momento, ultrapassa R$ 73 milhões. |
