Description
Deutsch: Das Bauernpaar Paul & Theresia Auer vlg. Weltkrieges.
English: A peasant couple Paul & Theresia Auer vulgo Paule Messner in Obermillstatt near Millstatt (Millstätter See), district Spittal an der Drau in Carinthia / Austria / EU. Shot in a photo studio. The man is standing and wearing a new military uniform without insignia and awards from the forces of Austria-Hungary in World War I. He is armed with a dagger on the side. In his hand he holds a nearly smoked cigar to end Virgnia. His soldier's cap sits on a side table. She sits on a chair and holding a bouquet. Both have flowers buttons. Maybe the image shows a wedding in need against the background of the early 1st World War.
