Deutsch: Ensemble Obere Stadt Vilsbiburg. Die Obere Stadt ist ein Vormarkt, der im Zuge der alten Straße Landshut-Frontenhausen liegt. Der leicht gekrümmte, wohl vom Verlauf einer ehemaligen Vorbefestigung bestimmte Straßenplatz tangiert den westlichen Kopf des Stadtplatzes im rechten Winkel;
beide Bereiche werden durch das Obere Tor optisch getrennt. Die Bebauung weist letzte kleinere Vorstadthäuser des 18./19. Jahrhunderts auf, bestimmend sind jedoch die reich bewegten Fronten oft dreigeschossiger Wohn- und Geschäftshäuser des 19. und frühen 20. Jahrhunderts sowie stattliche Gasthöfe und das ehemalige Krankenhaus, die sich zu einem malerischen Bild zusammenschließen, das lediglich durch den Neubau Nr. 35 gestört ist.
