Q&A Question: I promise you have not heard this question before. When you take office, will you apologize to the Native Americans and African Americans like we have done for the Japanese Americans? I will not promise you that. When I take office, I have to first earn the respect and trust of all Americans. It is important that I not polarize people, and if this was my first act, it would look like I’m the President for a certain group of people. It would not go over well with Joe Lunchbox. You may have noticed that I will be the first African American President. I sympathize with the question, but I think this is something that should wait until my second term. |
