Summary
[edit]DescriptionOakwood Park, London N14 - geograph.org.uk - 1047150.jpg |
English: Oakwood Park, London N14 Looking towards the Lakenheath entrance to Oakwood Park from the path to the tea room. Many years ago to the right of this image there was a aviary with mainly budgerigars and one or two golden pheasants. I used to love looking at them when I was a child and we all used to rush through the park to see them. Sadly the aviary was vandalised and some of the birds were killed, possibly in the 1970s/1980s, I can't recall exactly when, but the aviary was removed and not replaced. |
