| Description |
English: Oak logs, Sunny Gutter. The head of the deep valley dividing the High Vinnalls from Maryknoll. This is commercial oak wood, a tree the Forestry were not interested in at one time, hence the conifers grown elsewhere in Bringewood. Now with the return to building timber framed houses, oak has extra value. Half timbered houses are being built again, and even exported to Japan. The valuable timber is stacked out, logs numbered ready for collection. |
