George Frederick Meyfarth came west from New York City and bought this farm north of Seattle in 1893. Meyfarth family members lived on the property until at least the 1940s.

Information filed with image: Oaklake [sic] farm which was located North of Seattle on 105th and Aurora. Owned by Mathilde Pauline Meyfarth Rothweiler McKay. They owned a total of 80 cares it was purchased around between 1820 and 1894 by George Meyfarth. Man in Window is Harvey Nelson Rothweiler. Below are Karoline Elizabeth Meyfarth and George Frederick Meyfarth to the far left is Mathilde Pauline. Photo by Judkins.
