Alexandre da Cunha Teles (Funchal, 15 maio 1891; Lisboa, 18 mar. 1936), advogado, escritor e filantropo, era filho do general Norberto Jaime Teles (1852-1936) e de D. Margarida da Cunha Teles, tendo casado com Anne Kristine Stephanie Wera Beranger Cohen (1900-1985), dinamarquesa, cantora lírica e professora de canto, que estudara em Paris e sido pais da pintora Martha Telles (1930-2001) e outros.
