Description
English: Original print contains the following individual sketches: The Sisters' House, Salem, Built in 1786; The Brothers' House, Salem, Built in 1768; view has streetcar stopped in front, and caption states that home was used for widows (ca. 1895); New City Hall, Winston; Hotel Phoenix, Winston, showing part of "Phoenix Block" business district; Old Potter's Shop-First House Built in Salem, In 1766; Moravian Graveyard--"God's Acre"--Salem, caption reads that no standing monuments were permitted; Wachovia Loan and Trust Company Building, with two gentlemen standing at entrance; and Moravian Church, Salem, caption informs that the cornerstone was laid on June 1, 1798, and that the church was completed on November 9, 1800.
