| Description | Pictured is a de:SKGLB Z, to be more specific the ÖBB 999.01 which was built in 1897. This picture must have been taken after 1953, because before that this loco was known as "Schneebergbahn 1" (1897-1937), "BBÖ Zz.1" (1937-1938), "DRB 99 7301" (1938-1945) and "ÖStB 99.7301" (1945-1953). The loco is now owned by NÖSchBB (the "Niederösterreichische Schneebergbahnen") and is located in Puchberg am Schneeberg, Austria. Today it is nicknamed "Kaiserstein" and only in use for nostalgic purposes. It was last in service in October 2000. |
