[edit]DescriptionNymphaea capensis plant4 - Flickr - Macleay Grass Man.jpg | Introduced, warm season, perennial, aquatic herb, with small tubers that may develop into short vertical rhizomes. Sepals 4, are green with white or bluish-tinted margins; the green areas of the sepals may be flecked with very dark blue spots, especially in cultivated forms. A native of Africa, it escaped from cultivation and is now an environmental weed of freshwater habitats in Queensland and NSW. |
