| Description |
English: Nymanska gården (means Newman's estate) is a typical and rare remaining of all buildings in Borås from the period of 1682-1727, i.e. a short period between two disastrous fires. This small city estate escaped the devastating city fire in 1727 merely because it stood on the other side of the river Viskan. Now it's moved a bit further to Ramnaparken, which is an open air museum of historical buildings in Borås. Nymanska gården now contains a reception as well as indoor exhibition halls. This old main entrance from the street is closed though, and visitors may enter from the back yard. |
