Summary
[edit]DescriptionNunnery sidings, Sheffield - geograph.org.uk - 936828.jpg |
English: Nunnery sidings, Sheffield Nunnery was originally a London & North Western Railway goods yard. After Victoria station closed in 1970 it became a reversing point for trains from Huddersfield to Sheffield, and carriage sidings. Here, loco no 45104 "The Royal Warwickshire Fusiliers" backs onto a rake of carriages, presumably to take them into Midland station. |
