English: Nude buckwheat plants and flowers (Eriogonum nudum) against sky, growing in thin soil on granite. Shows the characteristic floret cluster at stem nodes. Along trail between Lunch Meadow and Brown Bear Pass, Emigrant Wilderness, Sierra Nevada mountains, California.
