Summary

[edit]
Description

The male kestrel has just passed his latest catch to the female and she is deciding which of her (begging) fledglings she is going to give it to. That displaced white feather was removed in the next hour or so.

The easiest way for me to tell the adults from the fledglings was by the darker yellow eye ring but if they were side by side I could see the adults also had much longer tail feathers.
