Description The Novelty Theatre, Great Queen Street, London, originally designed by Thomas Verity, and opened in 1882. It functioned under various names, including the Great Queen Street Theatre. Architects John Murray & Frank Foster reconstructed Great Queen Street Theatre in 1900 (the building was bombed in World War II, and demolished in 1959).
