English: So much colour in this area near the fishing community of Bayside, Nova Scotia, Canada.
I was asked how do I like the Sony NEX-7 camera, well I have to say it is really great. The detail and colour depth are super as can be seen in my shots since the Tunisian pictures. I get more keepers from it than I did with my Nikon D300 and the weight difference is awesome (my main reason for changing). It was a big move for me to leave Nikon but I am not sorry for doing it, their mirrorless camera (V1) was just not as good in many ways. However the lens selection for the NEX-7 is limited, but it can use most lens from other cameras with adaptors that are available. I am not sure how it will be when I try to get shots from a moving bus etc. but I am sure I will manage. The lens I am using is a 18-200mm Di III VC, it is slow (3.5-6.3) but a great mm range for traveling, I may buy a faster 1.8 lens but not sure yet. |
