English: I left early to try and get the sunrise here, but because it was overcast, there was no sunrise...
This quiet little fishing village of Port Medway is rich in history dating back to 1783 and at one time was a bustling seaport, today still very active during the cod and lobster season. During the early years the shipbuilding industry created all sizes of crafts for the fishing fleets. Tons upon tons of fish were loaded on these ships and sailed to Europe. |
