Description

c/n 44891, l/n 649. Built 1956 for Canadian Pacific Airlines (CP Air) as CF-CZE. Later converted to a freighter and became N45502, then CC-CEV and CC-PJG in Chile, before returning to the US in 1982 as N841TA with Trans Air Link of Florida. I saw her twice during her active life, at Opa Locka in April 1999 and then at Melbourne in March 2001. When she was broken up in 2003 the forward fuselage was saved and donated to the Houston Aeronautical Heritage Society by the Trans Air Supply Corporation. Seen stored outside for the 1940 Air Terminal Museum. Houston Hobby Airport, Texas, United States.
