| Description |
English: Norwich: the Guildhall This attractive building was built between 1407 and 1412, with the tower and porch added in 1435. A tower at the west end collapsed in 1511 and was never rebuilt, while the clock tower at the eastern end (not visible here, though scaffolding surrounding it can be seen) was added in 1850.
It was the home of Norwich City Council until superseded by 1605011 in 1938. |
