English: Postbox № NR2 205, Upper St. Giles Street, Norwich, Norfolk. This is a "Ludlow" postbox, named after its designer and intended specifically for sub-post offices. It is set into the wall of the 1605022.
The box bears the initials of Queen Victoria, but the enamelled plate displays the remains of the initials of King George V. The box is emptied finally at 6:30pm on weekdays and at 11am on Saturdays. |
