| Description |
The left-hand panel depicts a Trinity shield amidst fragments of architectural scraps. The right-hand panel depicts a composite figure with an arrow piercing his breast. The head is probably the head of Christ and belongs to a passion series. The other figure has the head of an Angel, and the body of a Bishop. There are traces of a desk and open book. The main figure may be Saint Francis or Saint Giles. At the top of the panel there are several angels playing musical instruments. Pic by Jenny. |
