| Description |
English: Looking eastwards at Norton Fitzwarren. The pair of tracks on the right are the Network rail main line from Bristol (in the distance) to Exeter (off to the right). The track on the extreme left is the West Somerset railway route to Bishops Lydeard and Minehead; the one in the left foeground is the former Devon and Somerset line to Barnstaple which has now been reinistated here to form a triangle for turning trains. The two lines on the left join at Barnstaple Junction and then merge with the main line ebyond the footbridge which marks the position of the original Norton Fitzwarren station. |
