| Description |
English: Built in 1912 and expanded with a nearly identical wing to the south in 1918, this Commercial-style building was designed by Bertrand & Chamberlain to house the Northwestern Glass Company. The building features a red, buff, and brown brick exterior with large Chicago-style windows, decorative trim elements made of brick, with contrasting colored brick on the 1912 portion, small arched entryways at the south end of each wing, and a simple cornice. The building has been adaptively reused as a commercial office building, with a retail space within the first floor of the 1912 structure. The building is a contributing structure in the Minneapolis Warehouse Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. |
