- description neck (side A = B): 2 hares jumping on palmettes and volutes - shoulder side A: bearded man sitting on stool, attended by a servant, another servant is turned towards a perirrhanterion (or a dinos on a high stand), from which 2 horses drink (water or wine?) - side B: figure with winged feet and a lion skin (like Herakles) falling on his knees, between 2 fighting hoplites, between 2 standing hoplites - production place: Etruria (?) - painter / group: Northampton Painter - period / date: ripe archaic, ca. 540 BC - material: pottery (clay) - height (including handle): 23.4 cm - findspot: Vulci - museum / inventory number: München, Staatliche Antikensammlung SH 586 - bibliography: Klaus Vierneisel, Bert Kaeser, Kunst der Schale, Kultur des Trinkens, München 1990, figure 52.1 - CVA München (6), plate 297
