Summary
[edit]DescriptionNorth Wootton, two straight waterways meet - geograph.org.uk - 1555877.jpg |
English: North Wootton: two straight waterways meet Looking east from the A39 just north of Glastonbury, as two dead-straight drains converge. The one on the left is called Long Drove Rhyne Long Drove being the name of the road and forms the northern border of North Wootton parish. The Hartlake river, which runs parallel with the right-hand drain a few yards to the south, forms the southern boundary, so we are in the wedge-shaped corner of the parish. |
