Description

"Enemy Cache: These 82mm mortar shells were a small part of an over 350 ton enemy arms and munitions cache uncovered by the 9th Marine Regiment on Operation Dewey Canyon, February 27. The cache, uncovered in the northern A Shau Valley complex, is one of the largest enemy arms caches ever found. It has yielded 802 individual weapons and 145 crew-served weapons thus far."
