English: North Tawton: Newland Mill. The nineteenth century steam-powered mill hides behind the trees on the left. The earlier watermill is a ruin, centre, with a house to its right. The shrouds of a large breastshot waterwheel survived here in 2004 before the site was redeveloped. It is just visible through the brick opening. Looking west |
