Summary
[edit]DescriptionNorth Star Dyke - geograph.org.uk - 471136.jpg |
English: North Star Dyke This looks like a man-made wall, but it is in fact a dyke of olivine dolerite intruded by igneous activity of Palaeocene age. Interesting to see that it seems to be behaving like a groyne holding back erosion of the foreshore. |
