This hospital was extened in 1925 and King George the V laid the foundation stone. This was to be the entrance that staff and visitors would use in the future which was on Princess Road beside Accident and Emergency. The hospital is now closing down. Accident and Emergency closed on the 15th March 2012 and the remainder will have moved by the end of 2012
