It has twenty acres of lawn and a superbwoodland park of 140 acres in extent, with miles on miles of accessible drives. Arden Park, Between Asheville and Hendersonville, nine miles from the former onthe Asheville and Spartanburg R. R., has an excellent hotel largelypatronized by exclusive guests from the cotton and cane States, as wellas by the same class from the North. Hendersonville . Hendersonville, long a favorite resoit for the aristocracy of thesouth, is warmer and dryer than other towns along the Ridge, welllaid out and shaded streets, good water and charming scenery. Itshotels are comfortable, well kept, at moderate prices, and attract aSteady custom year after year.
