Page Two NORTH CAROLINA CHRISTIAN ADVOCATE November 21, 1912 Note and Comment A Favorable Report was made on the interstateliquor shipment bill by the Judiciary Committee ofthe Senate in the last session of Congress, and thisbill, by agreement is to come up for discussion andvote on December 16th. This is the bill which isdesigned to give relief to the dry states, wherethe fruits of victory have largely been lost on ac-count of the inter-state law which allows liquor tobe shipped into dry territory. Every friend of lawand order should do all possible to bring to bearsuch influence upon Congress as will secure theadoption of this manifestly just measure.
