Description

c/n CCF4-538. Built as a Harvard Mk.4 by Canadian Car & Foundary in 1953, with the US military serial 53-4619. Served with the Luftwaffe as ‘AA+050’ and ‘BF+050’ before moving to the Portuguese Air Force as ‘1747. Resident in the UK since 1979, she became well known at Airshows flying in false RCAF markings as ‘20385’ before a landing accident in 1989. Rebuilt and painted in genuine Portuguese colours, she is now operated by ARCo/Historic Flying and is seen taxiing out to display at the 2017 Sola Airshow, Stavanger Airport, Sola, Norway.
