| Description |
c/n unknown Built by Canadian Car and Foundry in 1953 for the Mutual Defence Aid Programme (MDAP) and allocated to Italy with the serial MM53802. It would also have been allocated a US military serial, probably in the 51-171xx range, but this has never been traced. Consequently it’s c/n, which would begin ‘CCF4-‘ is also unknown. It served with the Italian Air Force until stored in 1979 and sold off in 1981. It initially became G-BJMS in the UK but was sold to France as F-AZCM in 1982. It has worn a variety of colour schemes over the years, including French and Swiss Air Forces, but joined Museu Aero Fenix in 2022 and is now painted in Portuguese Air Force colours carrying the serials of Portugal’s first and last Harvards ‘1501’ and ‘1795’.
