Description
English: Norman Butler's home made award winning (2011 RTMC EXPO Warren Estes Memorial Award) Dual 102mm f6 GOTO Celestron Binocular Telescope with a 40K object database powered by NexStar 4SE hardware (Gears), electronics (PCBs & servomotors), software, dual 1-1/4 inch Nikon microscope eyepiece holder, Nikon eyepieces and a NexStar hand controller on a Lumicon Universal Pier. Possibly one of the earlier or earliest of the home made ATM GOTO Refractor Binocular Telescopes. It was featured as the cover story in the July/Aug. 2011 issue of Astronomy Technology Today magazine.
