Description
Deutsch: Ölgemälde „Erzengel Michael“ (200 x 150 cm) von Norbert Tschirpke (in Besitz des Künstlers) aus der Ausstellung Norbert Tschirpke, Bilder : 20. Mai bis 17. Juni 1990, Städtisches Gustav-Lübcke-Museum Hamm (1990). Der Erzengel Michael schwebt über einem Menschen inmitten einer lila Farbfläche. Als Vorlage des Bildes „Erzengel Michael“ wurde das Gemälde „Erzengel Michael stürzt die abtrünnigen Engel“ von Luca Giordano (1634 - 1705 Neapel) genutzt. Das 1989 entstandene Ölbild zeigt die motivische Darstellung des Erzengel Michael, der einen abtrünnigen Engel in den Abgrund stürzt. Mit Hilfe eines Projektors wurde die Bildvorlage auf die Leinwand projiziert, die Umrisse wurden dann anschließend herausgekratzt und darin die figürliche Komposition eingesetzt. Die Leinwand wurde zuvor in mehreren Farbschichten bemalt und zum Schluss wurde die lila Farbschicht so aufgetragen, dass die unteren Farbschichten durchscheinen.
