Summary
[edit]DescriptionNo.30777 Sir Lamiel SR King Arthur Class N15 (6779186457).jpg |
Great Central Railway Winter Gala 2012 The King Arthur class was developed from Robert Urie's N15 class of 1918. Urie only produced five designs for the London and South Western Railway in his eleven years as chief mechanical engineer. These consisted of a class large 4-8-0 shunting locomotives, and a class of 4-6-2 trip freight tank engines which spent most of their lives based at Feltham in south west London. The other three where all 4-6-0 tender engines. |
